Changes... they're always inevitable

This is the first post on this new blog of mine and if I can promise one thing... it will be short. I've blogged over at typepad for five years but I can't really justify paying for a blog any longer when there are so many great blogging sites that are free i.e., this one. My husband will be pleased. He's wanted to get rid of my blogging bill for a couple years now but I've hesitated because it just makes more work for me. But now, even I can see the point in it. With this change, I have promised myself I will be more active with my blog and really document our lives and what we accomplish so that our children will have a way to look back and not only remember through pictures but also via the written word.  I better get going on archiving my old blog onto good old paper and then I'll be back for more fun!
